Current Opportunities

Administrative Assistant

The administrative assistant is responsible for overseeing the efficient office operations of the Office of Student Affairs and Diversity (OSAD). In addition to managing the front office presence, this position is responsible for triaging student needs to the appropriate team members and providing direct administrative support to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Diversity.

Clerkship Director

The clerkship director position reports to the department chairperson of the Foundational & Clinical Sciences Department. The clerkship director oversees the discipline-specific activities for each clerkship phase and individualization phase of the curriculum, including any other required core, clinical, or elective experiences (e.g. sub-internships) in the individualization phase, and transitional year. Responsibilities include assuring appropriate student supervision and comparability of student experience and clinical encounters across sites, as well as overseeing completion of student assessment by faculty preceptors.

Clinician Educator

Clinician educators will be involved in the development, delivery, and assessment of a case-based, student-centered curriculum for pre-clinical medical students. These faculty members will collaborate with an inter-professional and interdisciplinary faculty team to develop rich clinical cases that integrate the biomedical, social, and health systems sciences to foster student inquiry, acquisition, and application of knowledge to patient care. The faculty will be actively engaged as a small-group co-facilitator for the pre-clinical curriculum, provide additional academic support as needed for students, and serve as role models in support of a positive learning environment, professionalism, and life-long learning. Additionally, faculty will mentor students with special interests in scholarly activity related to their discipline and area of focus. We are recruiting specialists in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pathology.

Community Faculty

Community Faculty are passionate about medical student teaching, role-modeling, and whole-person care. Community Faculty should be dependable, motivated, supportive, creative, professional with communication and team-based interactions, and willing to learn and employ newer teaching modalities, as indicated.

Medical Education Coordinator

The Medical Education Coordinator reports to the Clerkship Program Manager and is instrumental in ensuring the efficient functioning and coordination of the foundational and clerkship programs within the Foundational Clinical Sciences (FCS) department. This role provides administrative support to the department manager, clerkship directors, and faculty, contributing to the seamless delivery of educational initiatives. 

Student Worker, Administrative Assistant, Dean's Office

The administrative assistant will report to the Assistant Dean for Operations and Strategic Initiatives and provide the department’s administrative support.  The Dean’s office oversees the operations, strategic initiatives, and administrative processes of the College of Medicine.

Student Worker, Administrative Assistant, Clinical Education

The administrative assistant will report to the Associate Dean for Clinical Education and provide the department’s administrative support.  The office of Integrated Clinical Education oversees the clerkship programs for YR3/YR4 medical students, community affiliate partnerships and initiatives, and the administrative processes of the clinical education program within the College of Medicine.
