Make a Difference
The Watkins College of Art at Belmont University strives to be a leader in art and design education with an innovative cross-disciplinary emphasis and intentional community engagement. However, we can't do it alone. That's why we need your help to ensure that our students have the best possible experience while they're here.
Your donation to Watkins College of Art will make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Here are just a few of the ways your gift will impact their education:
- Innovation and Entrepreneurial Mindset Funds: Your donation will help us develop new programs and initiatives that will keep our students at the forefront of the art world and design industry. Our college’s mission includes educating purpose-driven students with entrepreneurial mindsets. Donor support of our interdisciplinary programming, scholarships and awards will directly impact our students for years to come.
- Community-Focused: Your support helps foster intentional community engagement for our students and provides courses, workshops and camps for artists of all ages and skills. Our community-focused programming includes our monthly Creative Professional Lecture Series, visiting artists, master classes, public mural projects, teacher training for TN K-12 art educators, summer youth camps and so much more.
- Scholarships & Awards: Your donation to our general scholarship fund will help us provide financial support to talented and deserving students who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend our college. Donors can choose to create specific scholarships and awards for the Watkins College of Art that align their passion with the goals of the college. This approach allows donors to support students who share their interests and passions, while also helping the Watkins College of Art to achieve our goals.
- Aspirational Goals: If you are interested in giving a large gift that will impact our students and the greater Nashville arts community for generations to come, we have many aspirational goals that support our students, faculty & staff, and facilities, which can only be accomplished with the generous support of donors working alongside our passionate faculty and staff.
