Post-Doctoral Pharmacy Fellowships

Belmont University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Christy Houston Foundation Drug Information Center

The Belmont experience provides the fellows the opportunity to manage the day-to-day operations of an academic based drug information center while assisting in core curriculum courses and precepting students. Additionally, the fellow will participate in a teaching certificate program and exit the experience with a completed teaching portfolio.

Food and Drug Administration, Division of Drug Information

The FDA experience provides an opportunity for fellows to refine their drug information skills in a regulatory setting. Fellows respond to drug information inquiries from patients, health care professionals, and regulated industry; create and disseminate content; and assist with a number of high-profile initiatives.

HealthTrust Performance Group

The HealthTrust experience provides the opportunity for fellows to engage in the interworking of a group purchasing organization with over 1,600 member-hospitals and over 40,000 clinics. Fellows precept students and develop internal training materials as well as member facing resources related to regulatory, operational, sourcing, and clinical information.

HealthTrust Performance Group

The HealthTrust experience provides the opportunity for fellows to engage in the interworking of a group purchasing organization with over 1,600 member-hospitals and over 40,000 clinics. Fellows precept students, create various formulary documents, meet with pharmaceutical companies, participate in board meetings, and learn how to navigate a complex healthcare environment.

Belmont University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

The academic experience within the Belmont University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will allow the fellow to be actively involved in the development of materials and teaching of both small group and large classroom sessions as well as in the precepting of APPE students. The fellow will also participate in a teaching certificate program and exit the program with a completed teaching portfolio.

Neighborhood Health

The Neighborhood Health experience provides the fellow the opportunity to participate in the provision of patient centered care while also gaining an in depth understanding of population health management. Fellows will participate in a chronic disease state management clinic, precept APPE students, review quality measures, and work to implement quality improvement projects.
