The Office of Information Security (OIS) is responsible for the development and management of the information security program, recognizing the need to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of university information technology resources and recognizing the requirement to comply with federal and state laws and regulations, university policies, and the ethical commitment to protect privacy of data entrusted to the university.
The Office of Information Security reports to the Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer for LITS. OIS works closely with the other departments in LITS to provide Information Security support for the university community.
