About Belmont Law Review 
The Belmont Law Review is an annually published student-managed, student-edited scholarly journal at Belmont University College of Law. Each issue of the Belmont Law Review publishes articles from law professors and practitioners, as well as notes from current law students. In addition to publication, the Belmont Law Review hosts an annual symposium on a topic significantly impacting the legal community.
The Belmont Law Review is committed to both engaging in and facilitating useful legal discourse with an eye toward promoting justice and upholding the mission statement and values of Belmont University. The Law Review endeavors to be ever mindful of these values while participating in academic debate. Members of the Belmont Law Review will seek to contribute to the legal community through meaningful intellectual discourse while conducting themselves with the highest standards of professional and ethical responsibility.

Belmont Law Review Symposium
The Belmont Law Review hosts an annual symposium typically in the Fall of every year at the Belmont University College of Law.
The Belmont Law Review welcomes article submissions from law school professors and legal practitioners, as well as note submissions from law students currently attending Belmont University College of Law or another law school.
We ask that contributors please adhere to the following submission standards:
Submission Format
- All submissions should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th ed. 2010).
- Footnotes are preferred over endnotes.
- We prefer if your submissions are in Microsoft Word format.
Electronic Submissions
The Belmont Law Review [strongly prefers] electronic submissions. Articles can be submitted:
- via ExpressO, or
- via E-mail at [submissions.lr@pop.belmont.edu]
Hard Copy Submissions
The Belmont Law Review prefers electronic submissions, but we will accept hard copy submissions. Hard copy submissions should include one copy of your manuscript, as well as a CV and a cover letter that provides the following details: the name of your manuscript, your telephone number, your address, and e-mail address. We regret that manuscripts cannot be returned.
