Belmont University announced today that Nissan will serve as the presenting sponsor of this year's "Christmas at Belmont: Live from Nashville," the University's beloved annual holiday concert that will stream globally on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch beginning Wednesday, Dec. 11.
The sponsorship builds on Nissan's longstanding commitment to supporting arts and culture in Middle Tennessee, bringing together two of Nashville's most respected institutions for this landmark musical celebration.
"As we prepare to share Belmont's musical excellence with a global audience through our first-ever worldwide streaming event, we're thrilled to partner with Nissan, a company whose commitment to innovation and community has helped shape Middle Tennessee," said Belmont University President Dr. Greg Jones. "This partnership reflects the creative energy and collaborative spirit that makes Nashville such a special place."
The 90-minute performance will feature more than 600 student musicians and vocalists from Belmont's acclaimed College of Music & Performing Arts, alongside guest appearances by accomplished alumni Ashley Cooke, Cody Fry and Dwan Hill. The concert will be broadcast live from Belmont's Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, showcasing traditional carols, classical masterworks and seasonal favorites.
“Nissan has proudly called Nashville home for over 40 years, and we've long admired Belmont University's commitment to excellence in music and education,” said Allyson Witherspoon, chief marketing officer, Nissan U.S. “We're honored to be the presenting sponsor for this special holiday tradition that brings families together and showcases the extraordinary talent being developed right here in our community."
"Christmas at Belmont: Live from Nashville" presented by Nissan will begin streaming Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. CST on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, remaining available via streaming throughout the holiday season.
