Belmont’s College of Music and Performing Arts announced their upcoming season in the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. This season will focus on hope, unity and belonging and the power that the performing arts have in bringing people together.

- Celebrate the holiday season with an annual Belmont University tradition and hear the musical diversity and rich talent of the School of Music. The concert features familiar carols, classical masterworks, world music and seasonal favorites. More than 600 student musicians will join the School of Music faculty to present this Nashville tradition.

- A Journey through Time: From Bach to Respighi: Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
- Travel through time as the University Symphony and the String Chamber Orchestras delights audiences with works from Bach to Respighi’s Pines of Rome. This performance will honor the College Orchestra Directors Association (CODA) and Dr. Robert Gregg who will be retiring in May after 40 years at Belmont. The CODA conference from Feb. 15-17 will include lectures and concerts by three other university orchestras chosen by audition to be held in McAfee Concert Hall.

Presented by the BFA/BM musical theatre performance majors in the Belmont School of Music- A fun, award-winning musical based on the popular movie of the same title starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde The Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. As Harvard’s beloved blonde takes the stage and paints it pink with song and dance, this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!

- Mixed Bill XX: Reflections celebrates 20 years of dance at Belmont. Presented by the Department of Theatre and Dance, Mixed Bill XX features the Belmont University Dance Company performing works created by faculty, students and guest artists. This year’s presentation will also feature a partnership with Nashville’s di Mossa, a professional dance company that promotes reflective exchange through collective movement experiences.

- Join us for the thirty-fourth annual President’s Concert and Reception. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a dessert reception. The purchase of a ticket to this concert and reception will benefit endowed music and theatre scholarship funds for students in the college. Premier works from the College of Music and Performing Arts Fall 2023-Spring 2024 performance season will be showcased.
