Biography
Dr. Stodghill joined the School of Pharmacy in 2008 and is primarily responsible for teaching pharmaceutics, especially physical pharmacy, drug delivery, as well as the foundational pharmacokinetics concepts. He obtained his pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi and then completed a residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. After working as a clinical pharmacist for several years he returned to graduate school and obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Mississippi and remained there as a faculty member before joining Belmont University several years later.
Dr. Stodghill has a particular interest in working with students who have learning differences such as ADHD, Autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and executive function challenges. He is currently pursuing research focused on improving the academic success of neurodivergent students in the health sciences.
Additional research interests include Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling (PBPK) and Veterinary Pharmacokinetics.
Pharmacometrics
Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic (PBPK) Modeling and Simulations
Nonlinear Mixed Effects Models for Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Analysis
The Application of all of the above in Veterinary Pharmacokinetics
