Sara Blass

Biography
Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Sara Blass has called Nashville home for nearly 15 years. After graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University, Dr. Blass went on to pursue a neurologic residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. In 2018, she successfully earned her Board Certification in neurologic physical therapy, which she uses regularly in her clinical treatment of individuals with neurologic diagnoses. Her clinical background is in inpatient and outpatient neurologic treatment, with an emphasis on individuals with spinal cord injury and functional neurologic disorder. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Blass is also the program director of PBPRI and Belmont University’s Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program, where she serves as the primary mentor for each resident. She is a credentialed clinical instructor and enjoys working closely with students in both clinical and classroom settings. Her teaching areas include Neuromuscular Physical Therapy I, Experiential Learning, and Patient Care Skills.
