Biography
Dr. Phillip H. Lee joined the Belmont faculty in the fall of 2015. He is originally from Nashville and completed a B.B.A. at Lambuth University. After spending a few years in sales and finance, Dr. Lee returned to school and completed his PharmD from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Following graduation, he completed an ASHP-Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at The University of Tennessee Medical Center and then an ASHP-Accredited PGY2 Residency in Internal Medicine with a focus in Academia at the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University. After completing his residency, Dr. Lee began his faculty career at the Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University as an Assistant Clinical Professor. While at Auburn, Dr. Lee coordinated the skills lab courses in the third professional year.
As an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Director of Skill Labs, Dr. Lee teaches in multiple skills-based courses and oversees the skills portions of the pharmacy curriculum. He brings over a decade of practical experience as an inpatient clinical pharmacist working with internal medicine teams.
