Biography

Dr. Noel Boyle joined the Belmont faculty in 2008. He is interested in the nature of consciousness, as well as the meaning of equality. He is also interested in the broad range of philosophical issues relevant to understanding and improving the place of severely cognitively disabled people in our communities. His teaching includes courses on topics including personhood, love, justice, and disability. He enjoys tranquil kayak rides with his wife, watching the sunset on Percy Priest Lake.
