Biography

Professor Martha Ezell is the Assistant Dean of Nursing Alumni and External Relations. Martha joined the Belmont faculty as an adjunct instructor in the fall of 2005 and became a full-time instructor in 2010. She is passionate about nursing wellness and co-created the course ‘Self-Care for Nurses’, which has received several national awards and recognitions. An advocate for improving access to healthcare around the globe, she has participated in several medical mission trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and Haiti. Martha has served on the Board of Directors at Hope Clinic for Women and the Advisory Board of Faith Family Medical Clinic. She currently serves on the boards of Siloam Health and the Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
