Approach to Therapy: I approach therapy from a psychodynamic perspective, which means I focus on understanding how your experiences and unconscious thoughts influence your current behavior and feelings. However, while I do explore these deeper layers, I recognize that you are the expert on yourself. My goal is to meet you in the here-and-now, to address your concerns and current challenges to provide immediate relief. In addition, I incorporate an eclectic approach, blending concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This allows me to tailor techniques to fit your unique needs and goals. My aim is to offer support and guidance in a compassionate and human-centered way.
Favorite Way to Destress: I self-regulate by exercising, reading, journaling, trying new food, and watching movies with my wife.
Favorite Place to Unwind: My favorite place to unwind is in Franklin where my wife and I enjoy a slow weekend morning having coffee, trying different baked goods, and going to antique shops.
