Dr. John Maneno is a licensed pharmacist with extensive expertise in clinical content development. He joined Belmont Unviersity from TruLite Health, a healthcare technology company that provides innovative health equity solutions to hospital systems, where he served as a Medical Information Manager.
Before TruLite Health, Dr. Maneno developed content for Micromedex at Merative (formerly IBM Watson Health). He was also a contributing writer for GoodRx Health, where he developed bitesize patient education content.
He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University. He further honed his drug information skills through an academia and drug information fellowship program at Belmont University College of Pharmacy and Aegis Sciences Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee.
In his leisure time, Dr. Maneno enjoys staying active by participating in adult recreational sports leagues, hiking, and pursuing his passion for travel and photography. He is also a dedicated mentor, supporting current pharmacy students through organizations such as Pharmacy Initiative Leaders (PILs) and Young Black Pharma (YBP).
