Biography

Elisa Greene serves as a Professor within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. As a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP), she practices at Siloam Health, a local non-profit serving Nashville’s uninsured, underserved, and culturally marginalized. She established clinical pharmacy services at the site and provides ongoing bilingual Spanish clinical care and experiential student training through this partnership.

Dr. Greene holds a B.S. from Auburn University, a Pharm.D. from the University of Tennessee, completed post-graduate residency training through Palm Beach Atlantic University. An avid researcher, speaker, and author, Dr. Greene is actively engaged in projects supporting faculty and student well-being, financial education of healthcare professionals, interdisciplinary collaboration, cross-cultural communication, and quality improvement.

Dr. Greene currently serves as the immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors for immunize.org and was honored by the Nashville Business Journal as a Woman of Influence (Inspiration/Mentor). Other honors include the Child Family Health International Global Health Immersion Program in Tropical Medicine and Community Health, the Frist Foundation Salute to Excellence Team Building Award finalist, the Tennessee Pharmacists Association Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award, Pharmacy Practice Faculty of the Year, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Scholarship Award, and the Lilly Faculty Fellows Program.
