Biography

Darryl brings a wealth of experience and a passion for higher education to our team. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Livingstone College and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Vanderbilt University. Currently, he is pursuing his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Strategic Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University.

With over five years of experience in higher education, Darryl most recently served as Program Manager at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in the Department of Neuroscience and Human Genetics. His expertise spans student and faculty development, disability services, programming for both students and faculty, and working with faculty and administrators to diversify the learning modalities to enhance curriculum delivery.

As Faculty Success Coordinator, Darryl manages all faculty appointments and credentialing processes, ensuring seamless operations from initial appointments through reappointments and updates. He maintains and audits the central faculty database, supports faculty governance committees, and assists with policy management and event planning. Darryl also ensures compliance with institutional policies, LCME, and SACSCOC faculty-related accreditation standards and coordinates external data reporting to the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC).
