Daniel Canary

Daniel's public safety journey began at Belmont University in 2014 when he was hired as a student worker for Risk Management. Upon his graduation in 2018, he transitioned to various Campus Security roles, including Patrol Officer, Shift Sergeant, and Dispatcher. He further developed his dispatch skills at Nashville International Airport Police as a Public Safety Dispatcher before returning to Belmont as Senior Dispatcher in 2024. A Nashville resident since 2014, Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and son hiking and biking, steam-era railroad history, antiquing, and serving as a musician at his church.
