Biography
Dr. Charles (Chuck) Wainright is currently Professor of Management & Healthcare Management with the MBA Program in Healthcare Management at the Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Previously, he served as the Director and Associate Professor for the Graduate Healthcare MBA Program at Belmont for 8 years and as the Graduate Undergraduate Healthcare Administration Programs at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He continues to mentor future healthcare executives. During his time at Belmont, Dr. Wainright continued to mentor students and faculty and lead study abroad groups to Europe, Asia, and South America. Throughout his professional career of 45+ years, Dr. Wainright has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including hospital systems, health & dental clinics, and long-term care facilities.
- Ph.D. in Administration – Health Services (Strategic Management) from University of Alabama in Birmingham,
- Masters in Health Administration from Baylor University,
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama.
- Served as an ACHE Board Certified Healthcare Executive & Fellow for over 30 years
- Currently is a Life Fellow for ACHE
- Served 23 years in the US Army culminating in his last position as the Director of the U.S. Army-Baylor Graduate Program in Healthcare Administration at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
