Biography

Dr. Brandon Z. Holle is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University. His research primarily focuses on examining managerially relevant research questions related to digital marketing, branding and product development, international marketing, and marketing issues within the entertainment industry (movies, video games, sports, music, etc.). He focuses on using large unique data sets across various methods including econometric modeling, quasi-experimental methods, natural language processing, and experiments to uncover novel insights for academicians and practitioners.

Brandon enjoys teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels across a variety of courses that relate to strategic marketing issues and using data for strategic insights. In the classroom, he focuses on using experiential learning, such as client projects, case studies, simulations, and diving into current events to bring the world back to the classroom to help students engage in developing strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
 
Brandon also actively serves within the professional community. He is often a reviewer for various top marketing conferences and leading academic journals including Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Industrial Marketing Management, and International Marketing Review. Within the university, he is the director of the Jack C. Massey College of Business Behavioral Lab and is involved in several university-wide and college-wide committees.
 
Prior to Belmont, Brandon served in a variety of finance, management, and sales roles. Additionally, he has experience teaching business courses across the secondary and post-secondary levels. He lives with his wife and four daughters (one set of twins) in Hendersonville, TN. In his free time, Brandon enjoys everything sports-related, travel, and spending time with his family.
