Why Study Pre-Health?
Whether you enter your health-professions program immediately after graduation or you choose to take time to explore your interests, when you graduate from Belmont you will be ready to own your future path to work in any lane of the healthcare marketplace.
What You'll Learn
For graduate health programs, the coursework in your first years is essential! They are:
- fundamental to your understanding of upper-level courses
- important for your performance on standardized tests, and of course
- key to a strong GPA in your applications. Just to be clear, you do not need a perfect GPA to get into graduate health programs.
Many students have a bumpy start to starting college or an especially challenging stretch during school, and overcoming these academic dips can show significant academic growth and strength.
However, it can be more difficult to bounce back from long-term academic struggles. Thus, your top focus in your first two years should be your coursework.
